Irene's cake (friend party)

Each year since May turned 2, the girls have each gotten to choose the theme of their cake. This year, Irene decided she wanted a Sleeping Beauty doll cake, with strawberry cake and pink frosting. And, so it was! As always, I bake the cakes and make the frosting, but Chris puts them together and decorates them. We are a good team. (in many MANY ways)

This year, Chris decorated the cake early in the morning before he headed off to work at his current remodeling gig. So, I noticed he had his tool belt on. But, when he turned around, I laughed like crazy at seeing the things in his took belt! LOL!! I think his sense of humor is one of the best things about him. :-)

Irene LOVED her cake. The look on her face was priceless. But, did she end up eating even ONE bite of the cake before it was allllll gone??? Nope. Not one bite. Silly girl.
